Hi

Is there some setting I need to enable to make the 3cx webmeeting work with edge? As I understand the latest version on Edge now supports WebRTC.

While Edge does support some basic mainstream WebRTC features, it unfortunately lacks the more advanced WebRTC features required for multi-video conferencing supported by the WebMeeting platform. (Multiple SSRC's and a few others)

We've had a chat with the Microsoft Edge team about when we might be seeing these features, there's no ETA from their part on when this will be the case.

Microsoft are probably going to try and protect their skype product. Do you know if there are any plugins that would add support to the edge browser?

There are no plugins out there that would give Edge the support you're asking for.
Without this multiple ssrc's feature, Edge can only work in a sort of Peer-to-Peer mode which is extremely bandwidth wasteful to the point where it's unusable when used for conferencing. For simple 1 to 1 meetings it's fine. This is just how it is unfortunately. There's no way for 3CX to support EDGE without this feature.

Thanks for the clarification.
