So after experiencing performance issues with Webmeeting earlier this year, I was finally able to get our business to retry them via 3CX because 3CX as a phone system is great and I was hoping that after I'd used them for small 2-3 person meetings and natural progress of 3CX evolution, we'd see an improvement when it came to larger meetings.

Well it started ok with 3, 4 then 5 people, then 6 and 7 were just ok.... after that we had terrible lip syncing, choppy video. I quickly switched the meeting quality to stability and it really didn't make a difference other than the person talking was at least onto the same sentence as what we were hearing.

Though out the forums there are plenty of people reporting the quality of webmeetings is ordinary at best, when will it get better!?!

Hi @SJB

Did everyone else in the meeting also report the same issue after you changed the quality to "Stability"?

The more users with video active in a meeting, the more resources will be used on each user's computer. Unfortunately there's little that we can do to improve WebMeeting in this aspect. Users who's computers start struggling will indeed transmit stuttery video/audio and will have trouble playing back too many videos.

@JohnS_3CX yes they did.

@LeonidasG If there is little you can do to improve Webmeeting, the development has gone in the wrong direction with the underlying technology and a total re-think is required if 3CX is serious about offering and promoting this facility. I have a i7 with 16GB memory so it's not that I'm under spec'd.

We have another +15 participants meeting scheduled for tomorrow so we'll see how it goes this time.

I think we have seen significant performance improvement in past months and i am not seeing the many posts you are talking about.

Your machine is absolutely powerful enough to support up to say 25 pictures (the max of our platform) but others need to be able to support that as well. That means that if one of the participants has a very underpowered machine and/or a poor internet connection then their picture will indeed be effected.....

The other pictures should not be effected but of course if that is the person speaking and in the centre of the meeting then of course it will appear problematic to all people. Let us know how it goes.

I believe they need more servers. We have literally had to switch from 3CX to zoom, hell even whatsapp to finish some conferences.

I requested some in Mexico, since our options are Mid USA or Brasil.
But i was told they deploy on AWS and there are no AWS resources locally.
