Hi There,

I've done some tests and have done one or 2 web meeting recordings but have not received any info RE the recording download?

Thanks
Donovan.

Hi Donovan

Ensure the below is met in order to receive the recording:

- Meeting longer than 1 minute.
- Email of organizer existing in their extension (test: able to receive a Welcome Email for example?)
- Pressing the record button to start the recording
- Click End meeting (big red hangup button on top)

Wait and see if you get the meeting summary email.

Let me do another test and confirm all the above.

Did a quick test now. Comments in [ ]

- Meeting longer than 1 minute. [Had a call for about 2:20mins]
- Email of organizer existing in their extension (test: able to receive a Welcome Email for example?) [Resent my credentials from the web client, welcome mail came through]
- Pressing the record button to start the recording [Did that said recording.]
- Click End meeting (big red hangup button on top) [End the meeting correctly]

And was the summary email received?

No mail received.

Any update on this one?

Hi Guys,

Just checking again if there's been any update on this?

It should be great to have a page like "recording" for voice records, containing all webmeeting records

To everyone who is not receiving the meeting summary and recording:

- Ensure you, as a meeting organizer, have a valid email address that 3CX and the PBX can reach
- Ensure that "Record" was clicked during the meeting
- Very short meetings under a minute will not be recorded (in case you are testing)
- Ensure you do not delete the scheduled meeting from your webclient
- Note it takes time after the summary is delivered, for the MCU to convert the meeting and send you the recording, depending on the meeting size/length. Please wait at least 3 hours before reporting it as an issue.

If all the above is ok and you did not receive the email, you can send me a private message of the particular meeting link that faced the issue and we can take a look.

Hi John,

I've done another test this morning and still no info. I've sent you a message with all the meeting info.

Same here recordings are not being sent! Clients are freaking out this is causing a problem 3CX SUPPORT please look into this ASAP!

Tossing my hat in here. we're seeing the same issue. We had a consulting meeting this week and we still haven't seen an email with a recording.

I have already PM'd JohnS, just want some visability in the thread as well.

I have the same problem. Invitation Mails are working well, but no Link with Record

Just to give my 2 cents.

I did an ad-hoc webinar via webclient in firefox and recorded for just over a minute and I got the email with the link to download the recording.

Our PBX is 16.0.4.504

our webmeeting server is set to automatic.

You specified the summary email wasnt received which you get after every meeting (as organiser).

Check your email logs and anti-spam.

Never got a summary mail :( Which SMTP is 3cx webserver using? in the PBX we have the IP of our own Exchange. That means, 3cx webserver can not relay over this server. It has to send ower their SMTP

Email came from the SMTP server my PBX is using (in this case office 365).

I would look in Exchange at the filtering/anti-spam settings.

you'll probably find your exchange server is quarantining or rejecting for some reason.

Are you using SMTP authentication or anon relay?

Do your welcome emails come through?

for anon relay you'll need to create a receive connector in EXCH for the IP of the 3CX and set security to anon.

OK, now I understand the problem. 3CX webserver has no information over our mailserver, as the PBX is behind firewall. I thought, 3cx webserver has their own SMTP

My side was solved, got the mail with the summary after the tests I've done.

Have to ensure you schedule a meeting and have a valid email address for all the participants.
