Hello,

I just configured the WebRTC gateway.
When I open de link with Internet Explorer 11, the website tells me the browser is not supported.

Why not?

Opening the website in Compatibility View gives only a 3CX logo.

Best regards,

Gerdo Lansing

It would seem that IE is not an "open standards browser"

I appreciate your reply, but Internet Explorer is used by a lot of users, that do not even have another browser installed.

I do not want to push them to use another browser, just to get in touch with my company.

Looks like there's hope....

:) Thanks. I will give it a try.

Unfortunately the plug-in does not work on Microsoft Edge.

When used on Windows 8.1, the plug-in is detected, but on the 3CX screen, it says "Connecting...", while on the same machine Chrome says "Ready"

Perhaps because Edge isn't Internet Explorer.

The WebRTC gateway requires a browser that works with WebRTC. Internet Explorer isn't one currently, and neither is Edge.

It's not something that 3CX have any control over.
