Is their a way to put on my website a button for someone to click and have the phone system connect a rep to them?

You will need to know the extension number that will call them

The simplest way is to use http://www.flaphone.com/?lang=en (free Callme Widget) and two SIP accounts.
The first one you attach to 3CX, the second to Flaphone. Then Flaphone calls to 3CX. Thats all!

I tried both suggestions, The Flaphone works but the person is calling from their computer, i would like for the to input their number and click a button that would say call me and have a ext or ring group call them.

The api meets your requirements.

They type in a number in a text box on your page and you use the api to call that number from an extension.

If you want to get it to ring a group first then create a dummy extenstion (e.g. 900) and have that set to forward all calls to the ring group/queue and put the ext. (900) in the api call.
