My client is able to answer calls from the touch panel on the base station of her WH66 but when she attempts to phone out from it, the panel shows the number and "outgoing call.." but from the 3CX the same call doesn't show in the call logs. She says that there is no audio but I suspect that the call isn't able to connect via the app. Any ideas what might be the problem here?

This isnt supported at the moment... This question is open since 2023... Maybe 3cx can answer when they will support this feature.

We tested it with another WH66 inhouse and it worked fine there. Must be a bug with a work around.

I have tested most of this range and find that the only headset without any issues at all is the WH62, others for instance don't let you answer/hangup using the headset button etc..

I did reach out to Yealink but without much success, decided to leave the issue for someone else to fight with them over and just recommended to our clients the WH62 at the moment until I get to catch up with Yealink at a tradeshow or something like that.

The WH62 is great by the way :)

Probably a setting in the WH66 (i don't have a WH66 at hand at this moment). If I rembember correct in "Advanced settngs" there is an option where you can set what to use for an outgoing call. Not all settings are self explained, just fiddle around with them.
Also check the Yealink USB Connect on your pc.

Thanks, rest assured every setting (in advanced too) tested and no luck. same goes for Yealink USB connect. Yealink have promised an update to USB Connect very soon (as the software doesn't work at all on ARM processor Windows Laptops), so hopefully that will include a fix for the WH66 at the same time as I love the fact WH66 also includes Bluetooth connections as well. It would then become my default headset of choice to sell to customers.

@AndreHTP we have tested internally on a WH67 and dialing via screen works.
Have spoke to Yealink and they asked for you to contact them directly to discuss the issue with your headset

Out of interest, when you tested did you make/answer a call, place it in shared parking and then retrieve from park all using the windows app?
