I have been trying to get dial by first name for 8 years. I don't think its ever going to happen. I like your ideas though.

I love the 3CX product. There has been a lot of focus on expanding the product from a phone system to an all-encompassing communication system, which is great. However, it seems like some basic features and improvements are being left behind in favor of adding broad new areas of functionality.

I would like to see more core PBX and integration improvements in the upcoming releases.

For example, the ability for 3CX to talk with other 3CX systems to present a cohesive extension path and availability. This would allow for smoother PBX to PBX call handling. For example, I call into the main 800 number, which lands in my HQ 3CX, then I enter an extension that lives on a remote 3CX in another state. The call could be handled without a custom dial app out of the box.

For CRM integration, better options for handling multiple matching contacts, such as the ability for the end-user to select the correct contact from a popup list.

There are a lot of smaller items as well.

Additionally, we like 3CX because we can run it in our own infrastructure. We would really like to see the web meeting on-premise server feature.

I would prefer to see these features over Facebook integration.

3CX is a great product. Please keep improving it.

@DEVNETTS Fully agreed. But some strategy moves are needed before smaller features. In v18 we will addressmore core features. And also better CRM integration. In regards to more unified dialing plan - you can do a lot with our inbound rules and planning but definitely we can do more in that area. Let us know in more detail how bridges fall short for you....

The v18 announcement is supposed to be out next week, and the beta should be out shortly thereafter. I would expect we'll have v18 in Q1 in 2021.

A small (just a javascript change) but useful feature would be to allow opening extentions using the default ctrl (new tab) option, 3cx doesn't allow this and just opens on the current page.

Currently if you don't want to edit all at once with the same values, but edit several extentions with different values, you have to search for these extentions every time again. I have customers with100+ extentions, and when I search for a subset of them, they are all listed below each other, but after opening one, I lose the search, also the scrolling position in the list, meaning editing them all for minor changes with different values, is taking a lot of time, which would have been easy when I could have opened them in multiple browser tabs.

MS Teams is quite expensive in general and I personally may not have chosen to use it, but there is a large portion of customers/business that do, so having the integration with teams as an option make sense.
