Yesterday, I made a change of the license number.
Today, I got wakeupcalls in the very early morning about "phones are not working".
Turns out, the restore missed to restore the list of allowed countries which can be called.

It should be well documented what a backup does save, and what it does not save. The pbx has many features, and, I dont think you are able to fully test every setting after a restore.

Therefore my question: Where can I find out what the restore will leave out even if I checked every availiable checkbox?

Or is this a bug?

Hello @nobody

The only things that are not saved in a full PBX backup as far as i am aware are the options that are asked during the installation process. That will include ports, smtp settings and network settings. Everything else should be restored with the backup.

What version PBX are running ? You can see the exact build number on the Dashboard, under the information column.

The Version is: Professional Perpetual 15.5.10244.4

I just tried replicating by re-installing my system and my allowed country codes were correctly restored.
Did you get an error during the restore that something failed to restore?

No error message.
Made the procedure outlined here:

https://www.3cx.com/community/threads/changing-license-and-fqdn-question.56414/#post-235082

Server 2012R2 alle the latest patches up to April.
I made a backup, without fqdn and license information, removed the software
removed the fqdn from the license
made a restart of the server
Installed again, the same file I used previously
used the commandline interface for installation
used the same FQDN as before, but new serial number
made a restore.

If all other options were selected then the country codes should have been restored. I would recommend creating a ticket regarding this with our support department so they can take a look at the issue from the PBX logs as i cannot replicate this on my installations.
