I've got 2 customers with very sporadic success going to remote working and using the 3CX web client. Some have audio, some don't and I cannot work out how to sort. Firewall checker is fine at both sites. One server is on LAN, the other in Google Cloud

Ensure the users have the correct speaker and mic settings in the web client, for that PC. I've missed that before myself if the default sound device wasn't set how I expected. It is set in each web browser (each PC) and affected by the default sound device (if the browser is set to use Default). *777 the echo test is an easy way to test without calling anyone.

I checked his site specific settings, as well as his control panel settings and they are both to use the laptop's speaker and mic. And yet still no audio. I'm less than impressed that 3CX haven't offered any input on this. Seems like open source is the way to go maybe.

It's not a support forum, they do have tech support available.

If the user didn't allow microphone that could be blocking sound. Try incognito mode as that sort of starts from scratch. If that works check the Chrome audio settings, overall and for that site.

We don't sell enough systems for them to support their product, despite evangelising it and gaining them loads of sales via other channels. Will try the incognito route, thanks

I have the same problem. We tried to with 3 users always the same problem, there was no sound on speaker and microphone. Incognito mode - it doesen't work too. The users allowed microphone and I checked it on chrome settings.

@NDT does your firewall test pass? This can happen if the Media Server ports aren't allowed in the firewall.
