In the past week I logged into the admin panel of 3CX and whenever I clicked on our license information I got this message:

3CX failed to establish a TCP connection to activation.3cx.com.
Ensure that the local or border firewalls are configured to allow outbound traffic to activation.3cx.com

After scanning the forums to find out what could be causing this I realized that I missed the update to SP6. I found the following helpful post:

3CX communicated via multiple channels (blog, newsletter, seperate email), that we all should upgrade to SP6 asap, since the had to renew sll certificates on the activation portal.
They clearly stated that renewals would fail after September 15th if we did not upgrade to SP6
To my knowledge, I never received an email from 3CX regarding this cutoff date. It would have been nice to know for something this urgent. Where can I find the settings that 3CX uses to communicate with me?

Thanks for your help!

assuming you do not have a 3cx partner assigned to your license?
if you do - they should be communicating these things to you.

try checking the customer portal. https://customer.3cx.com/

If you can login to the management console, in the information box, click on License, scroll down look for Registration Details, you will find the email address.

Hello @Levi Koenig

Make sure that your email under the key registration details in the management console is correct.

I did check the customer portal and the email we are using seems to be the correct one. Most likely I missed the email. I will do a better job of keeping an eye on the blogs and updates in the future. Thanks for the quick responses!
