Hello!

I had v15.5 3cx on debian and today I updated it to 16.0 (I made settings backup before)
But now I want to return it back, because v16 is not suitable for me now.
Please, could you get me link to v15.5 debian iso? I've tried to download iso by link in registrations message, but it downloads v16

Cannot answer your question

Your license will now not work with v15.5 as it has been upgraded to v16

Why does v16 not work for you ?

Really? Is my old license invalid for 15.5 now?
v16 with free license has no calls recording and doesn't support bridges. I had the license less then a year and didn't plan to spend money at the moment.

It looks like a trap :(

So you had a paid license before? If so, you would still have those features. If you are complaining because they changes the features in the free version....o_O

I have free license. I'm not complaining about the features in new free version - it isn't my business. I just installed 3cx v15 few months ago and getting started to build infrastructure around it (phones, soft, etc). I planned to buy it later because my free license is active now.
But now I can't use my old free license for old version and have to buy new license for new version right now. This is unexpected.

Thank you! Good link. Unfortunately it has a broke link to 15.5 debian.

If you have done v16 upgrade your pbx licence is now v16 and no more v15.5, even if you got and old installer in v15.5 at the end your pbx still be in v16 with features from V16 .
How many SC do you use actually ? perhaps you can buy a pro licence with not so much money

Just for the sake of the string the downloader for v16 can simply be altered if you want the software, like so: https://downloads-global.3cx.com/downloads/3CXPhoneSystem155.exe and the same for v15/14 as well.

When I worked in distribution (and not sure if this is still the case), we were able to download commercial keys in exceptional circumstances (like in situations of upgrades causing feature losses) but for FREE keys I think you are on your own.

For debian:

Save your backup somewhere other then 3CX server.

Run the following
apt-get purge 3cxpbx
apt-get update
apt-get autoremove
apt-get install 3cxpbx=15.5.15502.6

good to go.

use this to re-trigger the setup in cmd line if you need to:
/usr/sbin/3CXCleanup
/usr/sbin/3CXWizard
