Which App and the future of the different apps

Good morning All:

I have been looking for information from 3CX as to what is the best 3CX app to use and what is the future of the different 3CX apps. I use these with my v18 clients but now taking a deeper look at this while planning to move to v20. The only post on comparing the different apps was this one https://www.3cx.com/blog/news/pwa-desktop-native/ which was early 2023. Would like to get some feedback from others on what they are using and their thinking on using the different apps. These are the various apps I know about and have use:

WebClient (Runing in the browser)
Webclient PWA
Desktop App
Windows App (Legacy App)
Windows App (from Microsoft App Store)

Webclient/PWA is the same "app". It will keep being developed.

The Windows app from the Microsoft store is the official softphone.

The DesktopApp and the legacy Windows app are pretty much dead and might stop working at any time.

The recommendation is the Windows softphone or the PWA, depending on the needs.

@ConceptsWeb when clients use azure virtual desktop; are you installing the Windows Softphone on the local machine or in azure virtual desktop?

Just adding on, the Desktop App works with v20 (so far) if installed but the installer is no longer in the web client.

I would prefer to install the softphone on the remote PC (with the mic/speakers) and use the web client to control it. ("call using" in the dialer popup)
