Which email server to use?

Hi. We were using gmail until recently when they removed the "allow less secure app" setting. Now nothing goes threw. I see I can now choose the 3cx smtp server or use office365. Which would you use? We do have our emails through office365. How does the 3cx smtp server work? Just want to choose the simplest one to use? Thanks, Kevin

Simplest method is to use 3cx smtp server.
We are using it for years, never had any issue.

So i just enter an email address under notification, hit ok and will be setup?

For the record, I believe one can enable 2FA on the Gmail account, and after that will have the ability to set up an "app password" (which bypasses 2FA). At least, from posts I've read elsewhere.

Steve is correct. You can enable 2FA, generate an App password, and then continue to do SMTP through gmail.
