Hello all,
I have deployed a few SBC and have always defaulted to Windows 7 Pro - which has worked well.

I have two questions:
1) Has anyone used and had luck with Windows 7 or 8 Home Premium? I am curious if the lower number of concurrent connections allowed by the OS would adversely effect its use as an SBC.

2) Anyone try Windows 10 as an SBC - Pro or Home?
Thanks!
Jason

Hi

The SBC for windows is able to cope with a maximum of around 25-30 extensions (depending on the amount of BLF keys configured for the Ip Phones) as long as the machine you are using for the SBC is the same spec as the 3CX Phone system server that has been configured for the amount of simultaneous calls required.

EDITED:
The machine can be a Windows Desktop OS, 7, 8, 10 Pro, Enterprise or Server 2008 R2, 2012R2, 2016

Kind Regards
