We have a serious problem, our own office IPs are sometimes blacklisted, even if they are in the whitelist. We have checked several times that we entered them in the right way, and we do ("allow", and the IP address, it's not complicated anyway :). They simply switch to "blacklisted" sometimes as some users seem to try to login with the wrong password. Then our users can't log in anymore. No need to say that it's a big problem, since those IPs include more or less all the employees of the company. Did anybody have the same problem ? Thanks !

Mate,

I have test this with 15.5 and v16 both don't add your IP to black list if you white list them regardless of how many time you try fail attempts.

Are these IP's for remote computer or local LAN PC. if its remote PC make sure you add Public IP not private in 3CX and ensure you have static Public IP most internet provider change your Public IP after while.

Those IPs are the public IPs. I think I know what is the problem : I didn't add them as whitelisted IPs at first. They appeared in the blacklisted IPs, I opened them, and changed them into "Allow". I think that in this case, the whitelisting is not permanent, it's expiring (since the blacklisting is). Since, we have deleted the blacklisted IPs, then reentered them as whitelisted, and this time, they stay.

So it's working, but there could be a little bug that makes this switch from "block" to "allow" not permanent. Or it's by design maybe. Anyway, I think we are good now. But maybe it's worth adding a comment in the documentation, I thought my switch was permanent, since the expiry date disappears when you switch from "block" to "allow".

Yes, in that case the solution is to remove and re-add IPs as permanent Allow. I am glad you figured out and its working for you.

Feel free to mark the thread as resolve.

Silly question, but how to I mark it as resolved ? I can't find any option for that, and I can't edit the thread title.
