Hi all,
Info:
3CX Hosted by 3CX Version 20.0 Update 5 (Build 551 Release)
Phones T46u and T46S running latest 3CX supported firmware
Users also have a W60B Dect phone on current firmware but not related to current issue.
Full supported setup
We have this wierd issue that we've not encountered before that I'd like some extra insights on.
T46U is a router phone and has at this time 7 devices connected to it. (5x T46S, 2x T46U of which one is itself)
An other T46U has the W60B with 7 extensions added to it, some users have a handset and a deskphone on the same extension.
When a call comes in through the Queue it rings three users extension, these extensions are 2x T46u on the router phone, the router phone itself and 3 handsets.
We've noticed that only the router phone T46U is able to pick up a call at that time.
The handsets and the deskphones just keep on ringing, even when user at the router phone extension is in said call. Only when that user end the call will it stop ringing all the users phones.
When logging into the 3CX team page I can see one of the extensions just blinking "ringing" "available" "ringing" 'available".
This only goes away for a short while when we restart the router phone and after restarting the router phone, restarting all the phones connected to that router phone.
Any suggestions on how we can troubleshoot this issue further?
At this time I would setup the other T46U phones as their own independent router phones to reduce the load on the main device.
I'm also going to be "load balacing" the T46S devices to the new router phone, but I'm not convinced it's a load or throughput issue.
Any help in the right direction is greatly appreciated.
I'm truly stumped.
Thank you!
