Received the message about in future that split dns will be needed for on-premise installs. Is this needed if the system is in Google Cloud or other cloud providers using the 3cx FQDN? I assume not since not on-prem, but just wanted to check. Will be upgrading to Pro here soon. Thanks. Great product.

Hi,
Do you have a VPN from your router to the DataCenter where you are hosting?
That is, do you have any physical phones that are configured "Provisioning Method : LOCAL " ?

If your answer is no, then this does not apply to you !

@azrich2379 No split DNS only needed for on premise installs.
