I'm trying to get my system able to move over to V20. We currently have the original windows client install (not windows store, like v16 client install) and that allows us to set the default protocol TEL and CALLTO to the 3cx windows installed client.

Over the months I have been setting up all new extensions straight to the Edge PWA Web client. One thing I noticed was that in windows 10 -Control Panel "Default Programs" options I could choose to set default programs by app, and 3cx would show up at the top. This was when the windows client was not installed on the machine but the Edge Web client PWA was, I could choose to set the TEL or call to option to use the Edge PWA.

For some reason lately 3cx does not even show up as an option under default programs to choose.

Is this a windows 10 thing, an Edge update thing, or a 3cx Web client thing? It looks like in the Edge browser settings the protocol handlers option is set to allow apps or sites to choose that, but I never see that as an option in Edge when I am at the web client so I have no way of setting the windows 10 client to be able to have the 3cx web client take/handle clicks on links to dial the number in the tel: or callto: link.

What am I missing?
