So we installed the windows client on most of our sales peoples PC's and set the idle time in the app to 1 minute and after that put them DND since they can't be bothered to do this on their own. Seems that it doesn't work as calls still come in, but if you hit DND on the deskphone it does log them out. Forwarding rule for DND is set to log out, is the app handled differently?

What code are they dialing on the handset? Or just hitting a button that is already there? What is this button programed with?

They are using the DND soft button on the t42g's if they ever bother too. Not sure, its whatever is in the default template.

Hello @MMDTerry

Do you see the client switching to DND in the switchboard when is left idle? If so then the extension should also be logged out of the queue.

Let me add that this seems to be intermittent. Right now with the idle timer setting it to dnd, it did log him out. I told him next time he sees it to not touch anything so i can see what exactly is happening.

They have been doing a lot of off season projects at their desk so a few have noticed while they are working queue calls were still coming in. I have witnessed it a few times and the deskphone DND indicator is on, and extension to extension calls go directly to VM like they should.
