Hi,

I have users that close the lid on there laptops and move around the office, visit client sites while offline and return. Usually the windows client connects successfully. Other times we are met with the attached screen shot. The users have to exit 3CX from the system tray and re-open the application to fix the problem. Is there maybe a way to add a refresh button to manually force a reconnect and or look into the app logic for reconnecting? They could leave there app like that all day and it will never reconnect until they exit from the system tray and re-open cleanly.

Hi!

What version of the Desktop App are you using? Right click on the notification area icon and select "About" to see this.

Also as you can replicate this easily, do it again and keep track of the time you closed the lid and the time you open it. Once you confirm the error exists, go to %appdata%\3CXDesktopApp\logs\ and there should be a log file.
Check if there are any log entries between the lid closing and opening times.
This may give you a clue to what is causing this.

Version is 18.3.3 of the app. I'll see if I can get something in the log that better helps with understanding why this is happening. Thanks for the troubleshooting tip.
