Windows Client start application when outgoing call

Hi,

As the Windows Client can start an external application for incomming call i'm looking for a sollution that it could start an application when placing a outgoing call.
Why? For instance when dailing a customer i want to start the CRM customor card. Or when clicking on a callto: link open an application to add / make notes to customer in CRM.

Any sollution is welcome. (the callto: is why my question raised)

I think it's usually it's the other way round for external calls: companies may have a call list of potential leads in the CRM already (ie collected from their website contact form) and they instruct the 3CX client to dial out the number while they take care of the creation of a customer card via their CRM.
