Windows client updater doesn't update version number

After letting PCs/users self-update to the latest Windows client, after installing 16u5, the version number of the Windows client shows in the 3CX admin panel as 16.3.0.111 but still shows in Windows (Settings/Apps, or wmic) as 16.0.1.81. So we can't see in our RMM software which PCs have updated and which haven't. And hence, can't automatically install updates, if we wanted to do that using a search and scheduled update script.

Hi Steve,

I think it is best to ignore the version reported by Windows, that's only valid for the first install. The automatic updater does not modify that value.
