Hi Guys,

Hoping for a bit of knowledge from you all.

We having an issue with the 3CX Windows client when using Windows 10 18 Enterpise N. When our users try to call using the softphone and a USB headset the call fails immediately, however, can use the Windows client to send calls to desk phones.

This only seems to be occurring when using Enterprise N, Enterprise has no issues at all. We have installed the Media Feature Pack for Windows 10 N (April 2018) but this hasn't made a difference.

Any ideas are gratefully received!

Hello @Joe Sheehan

This looks like an issue with the audio devices of the client. When the client does not properly detect an audio device it will allow one call after you re-register the client but after that calls will fail immediately.

I can't believe this.. I just found the issue *sigh*

Everyone else check the following:
Windows Settings -> Privacy -> Microphone

Make sure that apps are allowed to use the microphone.

Glad to see the issue has been resolved and thank you for updating the thread with your solution
