We've noticed an issue with 3CX on Windows, running v18 (new builds and upgrades), that use smtp.office365.com as a custom SMTP server (authenticating with mailbox account).
Most e-mail notifications get sent out just fine (User welcome email, system notifications, meeting *reminders*), however, the INITIAL meeting invite does not get delivered.

Looking for people who have noticed this, or can test, and can confirm this as an issue with the same parameters.

Since you're specifically mentioning smtp.office365.com I have to ask, are you perhaps using the "Custom SMTP Server" instead of the "Microsoft 365"?

If yes, do opt for using the "Microsoft 365" option as this was created for exactly this reason and to avoid issues such as the one you describe. This would of course require that you set up M365 integration on the PBX but you can of course have every other sync option disabled: https://www.3cx.com/docs/microsoft-365-integration/

Let me know if the issue persists after doing so.

Confirming that we're using Office365 as a custom smtp server.
Have you, or anyone, seen any issues with connecting multiple 3CX systems to the same AAD?

In that case I do suggest switching to the "Microsoft 365" option.

This should not be an issue.

This should not be an issue.

Hmm, OK, since each 3CX System would need to generate it's own Key Pair to use with Azure do you recommend renaming each public key, or is this not necessary?

With regards to using 365 as an SMTP server in 3cx, which requires to first having the Microsoft integration enabled, each PBX should be configured with its own separate App registration in Azure.
