The app is terrible.
Links in chat cannot be clicked. You cannot copy text in chats, except the whole message. The window is not responsive.
I think we have to change the PBX, if you disable the electron app.

We can't offer our employees that, until the new app is ready. Sorry.

@johannes_dietzgmbh we will look into the chats.
Which window not being responsive are you referring to? Thanks

Its not possible to resize the window. It´s not the main problem, but wished many times.
We will get our users' frustration if we roll out the app in its current state.

A method, to auto provision the new app would be also fine.

I have had users test versions as they have been released and updated, the two biggest comments/complaints are.
Cant resize the 3CX app window.
Chat has issues, cant copy text from messages received unless you copy complete message and chat will freeze or kind of crash and the message you were typing disappears, having to restart the app sometimes but not always.
All my testers(I have switched them to get fresh opinions with a couple of regulars) They all want to keep existing windows desktop client.
In my opinion the new app has come along way but missing a few small but much wanted features

First of all, a happy and healthy new year to all the partners and the 3CX team!

The refinements and immprovements are definitely and greatly appreciated, as well as the "Boss-Secretary" option!

However, we also unfortunately have to agree on the fact that not being able to resize the app (or any of its windows, besides the manager panel) is catastrophic. This is by far the main and largest point of critique we have faced from clients that have, fortunately, finally made the switch themselves or with our remote assistance.

Just today, I have already had calls with two different IT managers of clients of ours which have complained about this as well. I am talking about approximately 100-150 ext. clients each. The second biggest complaint probably had to be the deployment and provisioning, as there were many questions regarding as to how they could be deployed ready-2-go with minimal to zero user engagement. Thankfully, some of the pain was alleviated by the already present M365 SSO option already.

I don't like saying this, but I feel that many other partners mainly, not just customers feel the same.
Here's hoping to further imrpvements and further considerations of these critiques, to a fresh and new year 2026!

Many users have reported issues with the Desktop App V20. Please make the application resizable, similar to Desktop App V18.

There is an issue with the 3CX Windows App (tested on 5.4) where you use CRM integration. I an using Hubspot integration which is very fussy about posting E164 numbers with '+' prefix. If you make an outbound call to an area code e.g in Australia 029xxxxxxx and outbound rules changes this to 6129xxxxxxx using the Web Client to Add a contact it will use the outbound rules formatted number. The windows client however just uses the number as it was dialed in the client. This fails validation at hubspot as 029xxxxxxx get's posted. I can only see moving back to the web client to fix this. P.S for inbound calls you can manipulate the number displayed and get it to work, but outbound it uses whatever the user enters and fails!

Can we get this as a feature fix/update/consistency bug for next release?

Thanks
