I am trying to restore from version 16.0.5.612 on Windows Server 2012 R2 to AWS on Linux Debian Stretch using backup "License and Recordings", however, more than 50% of the migrations are failing if I restore WITH recordings.
I've read on multiple forums that it could be a corrupt backup but the consistency of how much it's failing makes me believe otherwise.

Has anyone experienced this? Any suggestions for an alternative way?

Thanks

Does your Debian VM have the necessary storage space to accommodate the recordings?

There are a few tricks to do this, however number 1 is to make sure you have the space on the new server!
Backup with out the recordings. then manually transfer the recordings to the new server via sftp, once complete run this command as root
Code:
 chown -R phonesystem:phonesystem /var/lib/3cxpbx/Instance1/Data/Recordings
or this one as a user
Code:
 sudo chown -R phonesystem:phonesystem /var/lib/3cxpbx/Instance1/Data/Recordings
