wrong password

Hello Everyone i have a client and they have started using the web client and they are saying that one of the extensions is saying wrong password every other time and blacklisting the ip for thier office and since i have given the ADMIN rights to one of the Manager at the office he is keep on restting the password but this is 247 faciltity and the manager dont want to do this at night times ,As per them it is same password which is saved in the browser and as per the manager emploee just just click Ok to login but not sure how i can find what is going on here and also teh wierd thing is when this client called me (Manager) and he siad that he can't see that extension 10017 but when i looged as an admin from remote location i was able to see the exteniosn and it was GREEN as well.Can i some how find out what is happening here.Thanks

Extensions with admin rights will not see other extensions with admin rights in the extensions list.

Make sure these people are using the correct URL to the web client and not the management console as the behaviour you describe will happen.

If IP is blacklisted then no one will be able to log in to the web client.

I would whitelist their WAN address if the PBX is hosted elsewhere.

1 I have WHITELISTED the IP and also
2 i didn't know that admin extensions don't see other admin extensions.
3 The extension in the matter has the admin rights as well so regardless what url they use it should always work ..right ..?

Wrong.

That’s like saying I have a google account so it doesn’t matter what google website I log in to it will work.

/webclient will log in to web client only

without it will take you to admin mgmt console only.

i m confused now... what i m saying is that this extension was created as user first and than i went to the tab RIGHTS and checked to allow the access for admin and only checked up to GENERAL SYSTEM ADMINISTRATION and i don't think we can assign seperate password for ADMIN access and seperate password for user access for same etxension ....or can we ?
