Hi,

We just bought some 2N IP Base door phones and integrated them in our 3CX system (v18.0.3.461, cloud installation with SBC on-premises). We are using Yealink T58A phones.
Everything is working fine, except for one case:

- If the door phone is calling to an extension, video is ok.
- If the door phone is calling to a group of extension, video is ok.
- If the door phone is calling to a queue, audio is ok, but no video is displayed.
- If a phone calls the door phone, audio is ok, but no video is displayed (that is less an issue than the previous case).

If you had any idea on how I could solve that, that would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Hi,

The 2N is not a supported device so we cannot help with this, but you can try the following for these two cases and see if you can get it to work:

- If a phone calls the door phone, audio is ok, but no video is displayed (that is less an issue than the previous case).

- If the door phone is calling to a queue, audio is ok, but no video is displayed.

Press the Video button on your T58W phone after you answer the call (More >> Add video)

Hi,

I already tried that, but I got an error message 'the other part is not available'.

You can also try to press hold/unhold from the T58W, and then again try to press "Add Video"

Again, I'm just clarifying that there is no guarantee that this will work with an unsupported device, but give it a try and see.

Unfortunately, that does not work either.
I will use a group of extension instead of a queue. The issue with a group is that the users have no possibility to leave/join as with a queue and thus their mobile app will ring even when they're not at the office.

Ok, when Update 4 is released install the update and try again.

It works with a T58W + supported doorphone (ie. Fanvil i30) in case this interests you.

OK, will try that as soon as update 4 is not in beta anymore.

Thanks for your help

Hello,

We are running Update 5, but this is still not working. Any new development on what I could act to solve this issue?

Many thanks,

In that case sorry, I cannot help any further. The 2N is not a currently supported device so I'm not sure if it will ever work.

The only thing I can suggest that may be of some help is to ensure that your extensions Options are like this

And both devices need to be on the same LAN and same IP range.
After you answer the call, press the video button on the T58.

This will force those two devices to try and negotiate a video call between them (without involving 3CX).
If they are compatible and can indeed talk to each other, it should work.
If not, I'm afraid there will not be much else I can suggest.

Good luck!

Still no success, unfortunately. My only solution is then to make the doorbell calls to a group instead of a queue, in that case, video is working fine, for some reason.

But then I have to split the extensions for the IP phones and the 3CX app, which involves quite a lot of work
