I honestly do not know how to explain this. I have had two of these phones become bricked after firmware updates from 3cx. But we also have 8 of these on one phone system running this firmware perfectly fine. we have another 3 on 180.87.0.5 that I wont be updating until a newer release comes out. Has anyone else had this issue come up? I did find out by accident the phone has a "recovery/backup" firmware, but it doesnt allow for autoprovisioning when connecting to wifi, but once i paste in the autoprov link, we are back at square 1 in its bricked state. Is there a way for me to reflash the factory firmware? We are working with our Vendor for a warranty claim since we do not order direct from Yealink. These phones have impressed me and are becoming very useful for small installations, but this firmware issue has frustrated me. I am also very careful as to not disturb power while the phone updates. Any advices will be lovely as if we can save these phones form being returned, i would happily accept that.

Put in a ticket with Yealink support. They can help you through this.

As CentrexJ said, this is something that needs to be investigated by Yealink, it's highly recommended you open a ticket with them and provide any of the necessary information they need to analyze the issue.

For now, delete the phone and add it again, the config file will no longer contain the firmware URL.
