This might be more a question for the Yealink Forum but I'm posting it here because this community is more active and I know that a lot of people use Yealink here.

We have a few customers with T54W phones that are complaining that the hook switch (the switch under the handset) stops working from time to time. The call cannot be answered by lifting the handset and cannot be hung up by placing the handset on the phone. The user must use the buttons on the phone to answer and hangup. A reboot fixes the issue for a few weeks but it eventually comes back. At first, we thought that it was a hardware issue but since rebooting fixes the issue, could it be software related ? Firmware is at version 86.0.70

Anyone else having this issue ?

I can confirm that we are also seeing this behavior with T46 handsets using Firmware 86.0.76 and a reboot fixes it for a few weeks. I suspect a likely firmware bug.
