Hi,

We are looking at migrating our remote sites from a terrestrial carrier to our 3CX platform. Cost, restoration time and aging onsite infrastructure are the reasons behind this.

These sites are truly remote in Australia, some a 6 hour drive from the nearest town, I understand each Yealink IP T5 series router phone can support 10 standard desk or dect handsets. My questions relates to redundancy, if we have 8 extensions and 2 IP router phones on the site and 1 IP route phone fails, will the dect handsets that have initially registered with the now failed IP router phone reregister with the remaining IP route phone? If not how can we manage this remotely in the event of a hardware failure?
