My extension is set for Voicemails to Email and delete from inbox. However, my Handset still shows a message. But when I login to voicemail, obviously it is not there. It is in my email.
Do I need to disable MWI for each handset that has this feature enabled?
Or just a config setting in the Yealink template?

The phone options I can add to the template are:
Subscribe for MWI Enabled/Disabled
MWI Subscription Period: 0-84600 seconds
SubscribeMWItoVM: enabled/disabled

If all messages are only going to be available as emails, then is there a reason to have the MWI enabled at all?

If not then it would make sense to disable the subscription option.

Right - so manually manage 60 phones with the users preference?

I restarted 3cx PhoneSystem services and it is now working as expected.
Sunday morning will be the first phone restart to get some provisioning changes.
Then we go live Tuesday night.

what firmware version are you running on your yealinks?

38.0.23.16

This is still problamatic - and random.
Two T38' - set up exactly alike.
1 gets MWI - the other doesn't.
But earlier today, the other phone was not doing this.

Subscribe for MWI - Enabled
MWI Subscription Period (Scope:0~84600)(seconds) - <blank>
SubscribeMWIToVM - Disabled

Now, we have 60 users. So to manually set each users handset based on their preference of VM to 3cx, VM to Email, VM to Email and delete form 3cx is absurd.

I had to eat the yealinks at my customer. Pulled them and put in Cisco handsets. The customer doesn't call every day now so all is well. No more yealinks for us though. I hope you find a solution for your install.
