Hi there. We're in the process of implementing 3CX in our Hotel environment, all going well so far.
One issue I can't work out.. a call to a queue or a ring group internally does not show which queue/ring group it's arriving from on the Yealink T53 handset.
I found another thread which said "Just access the Management Console, go to "Advanced >> Contacts >> Options" and where it reads "Add Group, Queue or DID/DDI Names to Caller ID" change the selection to "Prepend".", but this is already set to Prepend and it doesn't work. Any internal calls (extension -> ring group or queue) just shows the caller as the internal extension, no queue/group info.
Further research on the 3CX forums, I found a setting on the Yealink handset "Incoming/Outgoing Call Lookup" - setting this to disabled works, but I lose this custom change every time the phone reprovisions. I can do this with a custom template, but then I'm unsupported.
Is "Add Group, Queue or DID/DDI Names to Caller ID" meant to work how I'm expecting it to for internal callers also?
It DOES work for any external calls.
