Hi, I do hope someone can shine a light on this for me as Ive been battling with this issue for some time. Essentially we have 3cx hosted in the cloud and paired with Google cloud virtual linux server.
We have one phone that will not register, the ext is fine as when provisioned on a smartphone it all works. When we configure the phone manually via the web interface it will not register. The event logs on 3cx state the following:
SIP Server/Call Manager ID: 12291
SIP request (REGISTER) from 86.8.167.95 was rejected. Reason: Block WAN requests is ON. Message: REGISTER sip:anytechsolutions.3cx.co.uk:5060 SIP/2.0 Via: SIP/2.0/TCP 172.16.0.45:12752;branch=z9hG4bK1415338951;received=86.8.167.95 Max-Forwards: 70 Contact: <sip:[email protected]:12752;transport=TCP> To: "Techs" <sip:[email protected]:5060> From: "Techs" <sip:[email protected]:5060>;tag=3670108561 Call-ID: [email protected] CSeq: 2 REGISTER Expires: 3600 Allow: INVITE, INFO, PRACK, ACK, BYE, CANCEL, OPTIONS, NOTIFY, REGISTER, SUBSCRIBE, REFER, PUBLISH, UPDATE, MESSAGE Proxy-Authorization: Digest username="tZU6iW18oU",realm="3CXPhoneSystem",nonce="414d53595bd9a56519:b46939ef1d368e6a6ebe40857cedfc6f",uri="sip:anytechsolutions.3cx.co.uk:5060",response="7ac47629fc4b90b9a048210424968298",algorithm=MD5 User-Agent: Yealink SIP-T19P_E2 53.83.0.50 Allow-Events: talk, hold, conference, refer, check-sync Content-Length: 0

Edit the extension, and under the Option tab you need to either

stun config - untick 'Disallow use of extension outside the LAN (Remote extensions using Direct SIP or STUN will be blocked)'

sbc config - untick 'Block Remote Tunnel Connections (3CX Client connections with Tunnel enabled & SBC will be blocked)'

Also check the IP address has not been blacklisted - on the Dashboard 3CX management screen - Blacklisted IPs

Hi Chris,

Edit the extension, navigate to the Options tab and disable the "Disallow use of extension outside the LAN (Remote extensions using Direct SIP or STUN will be blocked)" feature.

After that reset and provision your Yealink phone again.
