Hi there,

I've a problem with the 'T41-P' model from Yealink, in the 'Phones list' of my 3CX the firmware of these phones appear as 'Not supported' (36.83.0.60) while I've the last one. So I checked the firmware recommendation from the 3CX website (https://www.3cx.com/support/phone-firmwares/) and everything seem right to me.

Do I have to factory reset the phone and upload the same firmware again to fix the problem ?

Ps: I also have a 'T41-S' and all work fine for this one. The problem occur only for the T41-P model.

Cheers!

I don't think it's a "problem". Is the phone working correctly? Is the template the good one?

The latest firmware at this URL are the ones for V16 SP2. Are you still on V15.5? This version doesn't use the same firmware. Make sure you update it via 3CX so it installs the right one.

Hi Ludovic,

This is the correct firmware for 3CX V16+

For 3CX V15.5.15502.6 however, it should be 36.83.0.55

What version is your PBX exactly? (Can be seen on the 3CX dashboard)

Hi, thanks for the reply.

So my 3CX is currently on V16.0.2.910.

For the templates I just realized I put the T41S but there is no T41P. I'll try with the 'T41' template instead :)

Yes, that should be correct. If in doubt use plug and play provisioning (if the phone is local).

You can also look inside the template and it will state the user agents of the phone models it provides
