Yealink T42,T46,T48 - Paging Not working

How do you setup paging to correctly. I am using the default template on the following phones T42, T46, T48, I have the user setting allow paging enabled. I add 3 phones to page group with a dial code. I dial the paging dialing code then call connects beeps then hangs up.

On a packet capture the server sends notify sip message to the the 3 phones, the phone report back 200 OK. The server then send a sip message bye to the handset that is dialing the paging code.

Any idea on what I am doing wrong here?

Does the user have the Paging/Intercom right?

Yep *11.

When I dial *111900 voicemail disabled for this extension.

If I dial 1900 I gets a beep tone then it hangs up.

If I run a report on ring groups it states the following.

Call terminated by pg-1900 which is the name of the page group.

I suppose you want to page more then one extension at once?

20ish page groups when we start to deploy and the connections are vpn ipsec so no multicast. currently just trying to get it work locally right now.

I have find with installing a paging sip relay with multicast at each site. Would something like Algo 8301 work?

I also need an output to hook up to an amp the for large warehouse paging system.

What would be the next steps to troubleshoot? Are we thinking an issue on the phones or i have incorrectly set something up on 3cx.

How does one normally setup unicast paging in 3cx to yealink phones?

Fixed this issue.

dial code had just a * set for one of the dial code items.

which was causing all dial code to fail but the * item
