I have a T42S Yealink phone firmware version 66.86.188.11
I have a free 3cx.com account

I tried to add my YealinkT42S in Admin Console > Users > me > ip phone, but although I know the mac address, it does not do anything there, the button add does not work,
I tried to upgrade the firmware via a download from the Yealink website, but that repeatedly failed and there doesnt seem to be a newer version
I have read a few threads with the same problem, but that does not solve mine, sadly.
Anyone here who knows what to do?

Thanks in advance.

Below problems might be solved meaningwhile
I rebooted this phone to the factory settings, what causes I cannot connect to the phone settings anymore with the browser, the firmware did not change. And there are no proxy or firewall settings causing this. Also using another browser does not help.
I changed the settings in the phone by
menu
3 settings
2 advanced
2 network
4 webserver
http changed to; on
https changed to: off
Not sure what I did, but I can log in my yealink phone from the browser again

I also received a message from the 3cx admin console my ip was blacklisted and i cannot log in the admin console anymore
I turned on VPN so I can log in the admin console again.
But now I rebooted my phone it doesn't say I am blacklisted anymore. Still are really would like to know how to add my yealink t42S ip phone without causing all of these problems

Hello,

You need to deploy an SBC to connect standart IP Phones to the cloud instance.

Thank you for your reply . Almost all my questions are answered in that link text. How much GB does it need?
