I've added a deskphone in my home office for my small business It works off my home Wi-Fi. At the moment I'm getting no service. I followed the steps and there's no warnings on the system. There is a ring out of tone, however, if I place cause, it says it's not able to invite request not response.

This is the first time for a business that we've got a desk phone with. I don't use mobile applications. However we really wanted to have a does phone for the office for a small business to work off. However with this no service coming up I just wondering what I'm doing wrong and I will see how to correct it so we can sort it out so I can use my phone and it will work with calls for my extension.

Any advice will be brilliant to get this sorted please remember this is my first time with a new desk phone so I'm not very tech savvy with this. I can do the simple things but I may need a little bit more detailed guidance sometimes just to kind of find things, but I really would like some support as I'm not too sure if the configuration is incorrect, but I feel like I've gone through everything as it says but I'm not sure what to do where to turn

Firstly, check the desk phone firmware level and ensure it is updated to the correct version of 108.86.0.76.

Additionally, you should not use it via Wifi; instead, use it with the network cable.

But first, remove the phone from the extension, update the firmware, and then re-add after plugging in with the network cable to the router.

Hi, apologies for not making it very clear. It's connected to the network cable which is rooted directly to the phone to our router. I can also confirm the firmware level is at version, 108.86.0.76.

Is there something else that I'm doing wrong? It's not working say no service because it's connected to the network cable and it's on the correct version.

From what I can see, as of 8 am this morning, the phone was on T42U 108.86.0.70.

Can you please double-check the firmware version?

Hi, I can confirm the firmware at 108.86.0.70.

Firstly, please check the desk phone firmware level and update it to the correct version of 108.86.0.76 and NOT 108.86.0.70.

See the required firmware from this link: https://www.3cx.com/docs/phone-firmwares/

Please remove the phone from the extension, update the firmware, and then re-add it as a router phone to the extension again.

I can confirm that it's been updated to the correct version, 108.86.0.76. I have remove the phone from the extension. Updated the firmware readded it, and it still says no service.

The public ip address from where the phones is added is likely blocked now due to it being on the incorrect firmware.

This will release automatically after 24 hours. Try it tomorrow, giving it a reboot after 9:00 am gmt.
