Yealink T46G crash during IP renewal

120x T46G (FW 28.73.0.48 / 3CX 12 sp6.2)

Every so often a user reports the phone is "rebooting at random". It seems to reboot (crash?) when the device receives a new IP from a DHCP server. I am using 2x 2008 R2 WinDNS servers with ip helper and PoE.

Anyone else run into this or have any suggestions?

Do you have Option 66 on the DHCP? That could possibly explain it...

If you're not using LLDP, but it's enabled on your phones and switches, I've experienced an issue where the Yealink phones get out-of-whack because they get confused between the DHCP and LLDP responses they get.

If you're not using LLDP, try logging in to the phone's web interface and disable LLDP.
