I have 8 phones on a remote network, all were working, and 1 day 1 stopped registering, I defaulted the phone, deleted the ext in 3cx, re-created it, set it to STUN external and unchecked the "disallow use outside of LAN), and checked "PBX delivers audio".
In event log I see this-
RPS request for Yealink T46S-yealinkt4xopus IP Phone of John Smith (104) delivered successfully
The phone itself is just sitting at default settings, it never gets a config, the default admin login stays instead of using the new admin login in 3cx.
I have a custom template, which just defaults the codec to opus.
I reboot the PBX, firewall, everything.
PBX is debian in GCP, latest 3cx updates. Firewall is pfsense.
Phones all run firmware: 66.85.0.5
After setting the device to local, and selecting the hostname in the pbx it was able to provision, but of course the phone came up with STUN disabled, and it would not register. I flipped it back to STUN Remote in 3cx, and reprovisioned/reboot phone, now it is registered...not sure why I would need to do all that.
Yes, I know I probably need an SBC onsite, didnt really want to fool with that, but will work on that.
