I have 3CX V15.5on my server for about 3 years.
Phones were CISCO SPA. All phones are in the same internal network with 3CX server.

Since SPA phones are old, we decide to switch to YEALINK T46S.

When I switch first T46S phone and configure provisioning(3CX already configure to use T46S template), everything are fine.
T46S register to 3CX by UDP.

Then I make a call to old SPA. No audio!! Both phone can not hear anything.

I try another T46S, the same!

What mistake did I have?

George

Commonly audio issues are related to Firewalls blocking the RTP/Media ports, in your case this should not be relevant as all the phones are in the local network (and I assume you are making local calls).

Please check:

* Firmware on the phones themselves.

* The end-points are not sitting in their own separate VLAN's and would thus require inter-routing to be setup.

* Trace a call from the Yealink and look at the PCAP, this can be done easily with the below:

1. Set the syslog level to 6 -> reboot phone
2. Start to capture the Trace -> reproduce your issue -> stop capturing the Trace -> Export PCAP Trace.
3. Export config.bin
4. Export level 6 syslog -> check the syslog level

I would also suggest Windows firewall if your 3CX server is running on Windows however for local calls the media will be passed end-point to end-point (not via the PBX) anyway.

Are you running the latest service pack for 15.5 which is SP5

Is the issue only between Yealink and Cisco phones? What happens if you call another Yealink device? What happens if you call a Cisco device from a 3CX client?
How are the phones provisioned? Are they local to the PBX or remote?

Solved. TKX everyone.

Glad to see the issue has been resolved
