We are having an issue where by when we reset a handset to provision to a new extension it no longer shows up in the phones list.

we are restting the handset by holding OK and selecting yes to factory reset.

3CX :
ProductEnterprise Annual
Version Number16.0.9

Handsets are on firmware 66.86.0.5

The phones and the server are on the same subnet,

We dont have any options set in DHCP.

The phones used to appear automatically. however since a few 3cx updates and firmware updates they no longer appear.

Hi!

My advice would be, at a time when there are not calls, restart all 3CX services, especially the SIP Service.
After this, try Factory Resetting the phone again (regardless if it's already in this state).

Many thanks

will try this in the next window.

Can i confirm that we dont need any dhcp options for the Yealink t46's on the same subnet? they detect by multicast and not DHCP option 66?

If the devices are on the same network, you do not need DHCP option 66.

Only use DHCP 66, if PnP is not working for any reason.

Have you deleted the phone from 3CX Management , under Users , Phone Provisioning ?

Yes the handset was deleted.

I wonder if its worth setting up dhcp options then .

Hi @Samraby

Does your 3CX machine have more than one NIC?
