I have multiple Yealink T53W and T54W's that are not ringing this morning after the firmware update to 96.86.100.5. All calls (internal and external) go right to voicemail. The fix seems to be completely wiping out the extension and re-adding it. Factory resetting the phone or removing the phone from the extension and re-adding do not fix the issue.

The best guess I have right now is that if the phone was in DND mode during the upgrade, the extension is stuck in some kind of permanent DND mode.

Hi @dmat1175

Although there is an issue that we are currently investigating with the firmware in question, that issue has to do with the behavior of phone when in CSTA mode.
You can see the relevant forum thread here

Can you let us know if the agents use the phones as standalone phones or in CSTA mode?
Also, do you other phones (other models or brands) that do not face the issue?

We use them as just standalone phones. The only other model we have is the T58A which did not receive a new firmware update and has not been affected.

I have been able to confirm it only has happened to phones that were in DND at the time of the upgrade. It seems that all of them in that state were affected. Probably around 20 or so that I know of now of the 100+ phones we have total.

Hi @dmat1175

Please check the following and let me know

From the management console, go into the Users section and select one of the affected extensions, then click on the "Status" option and see what status the extension is in. If it is in DND, change it to Available and see if it solves the issue.

That works. Thank you!

Great, thank you for the update.

As this is probably affected by the same issue mentioned in the other forum post, please keep an eye for any updates on that thread.
