We are having an issue with one of our phones. When the caller dials out, before the call is connected they are hearing a audio prompt to press a key (3, 5 or 6 random) to connect the call.

This is only happening with calls originated from the desk phone and not the web client or mobile app.

Does anyone know why this is happening or where the setting is to disable this? The phone is running on the latest Firmware.

Thanks

Also, it was just noted that it is only happening when calling mobile numbers and not landline numbers.

That honestly sounds like an issue on the side of whomever you are calling and not your end.

When you test via the webclient/apps, you are using the same extension?

Yes, this is what I thought also. Except it is happening with all mobile numbers called from the desk phone.

Using the same extension from the WebClient does not prompt.

My next step would be a packet capture of both the PBX and the phone and see where the prompt is coming from.
