Hi

Can anyone help we upgraded our system form v18 to v20 a couple of weeks ago and overall went well. we needed to provision a couple of phones that we had not used and they are on old firmware which was not support on v20.

The phones that are working are on 58.86.0.180 so found this on 3CX site downloaded and via phone web interface upgraded, the phones are now asking for an RPS PIN, what is this and where do I get the PIN from.

Can anyone help?

Thanks
Rob

It looks like your phones are registered at the yealink rps Service.
An indicator that the phone has been registered in your own Yealink RPS account is that when you add the phone to 3cx, an entry appears in the event log stating that the phone could not be automatically added to the RPS.An indicator that the phone has been registered in your own Yealink RPS account is that when you add the phone to 3cx, an entry appears in the event log stating that the phone could not be automatically added to the RPS.

When using Legacy phones (before 2018 afaik) you need to lookup the pin at the rps Service.
