Hi

I have moved one client from windows over to a hosted debian system.

When I provision the yealink T58 to the debian system the phone can only receive calls, no outgoing calls can be made.

When we move it back to the windows system everything works fine again.

Firstly can you confirm whether the configuration is the same, for example the first place I would look would be your outbound rules as it sounds like you have configured your inbound DDI settings correctly but not got the outbound route setup: https://www.3cx.com/docs/manual/sip-trunks/

Since you are receiving inbound calls I would assume that your phone is setup correctly via STUN SBC or VPN to the cloud system and that you have a SIP trunk connected for the calls themselves.

Please however specify if you have tried both local and calls out to the Internet/PSTN (public calls).

Hi Eddv123

Thanks for the reply.
The same configuration is set. All trunks are in order and if I use any other device calls can be made. The problem is using the T58V only, not even internal calls can be made. As I said only incoming works.

Hello @jofer

You did not mention how the phone is provisioned. Is the phone local or remote? If remote are you using SBC or STUN? When you move the phone to Linux does the phone provision and register normally? Try calling the echo test of the PBX and see if that works.

Just for giggles (since I just beat my head against the wall for 2 weeks with an outbound call issue with a T58V), go into your trunk settings and under options, make sure that "Allow Video Calls" is disabled.

Go into the extension that is having the problem, go to the Phone Provisioning tab, and pick one codec to test (I recommend PCMU / G.711u)

Reprovision the phone.

Test.

Hi

I provision remote with stun, echo tests does not work.

@Marari, the thing is it does not even make internal calls. But receive side works well.

Did disabling Video on the trunk fix the issue as reported elsewhere in the forums?

Hi Craig

No as I said I can not even make any internal calls

Check the PBX activity log for any errors after you try an outbound call and see if the call is reaching the PBX.
