Hello,
i now have a T58W set which is provisionned from an SBC, client wants to change this to SBC router phone, so i d'like to know what are the steps to do this.
my guess is :
  1. I need to factory reset the T58W
  2. I need to check T58W the firmware release and apply if needed, the 3cx one required, to be able to set it as router phone.
after that i'm not confident with what are the next stepsso that's here i need advices.

Thanks for the triks to those who already did that kind of change .

Update firmware to supported version first.

Then, swap the config in 3CX directly : aka remove and readd as Router phone.

Then, factory reset the device. Upon reboot, it will grab its new config and connect automatically.

Hello Fred,
phone is in good firmware (checked)
so following step is to remove IP phone in extension , right?
keep its mac adress and re add it as router phone on same extension
and finally do a factory reset , then reboot
and with normal luck;) it should be done , that's it ?

If you have access on their network copy down the phone web page password before deleting it in 3CX. Then you can reset/reboot it from the phone GUI.

Unfortunatelly I have not, so it will be customers hands on "OK" to get the factory reset menu
