Yealink W90B in the technical specifications is indicated 250 simultaneous calls

But then it is written:

Up to 8 WB (4 active handsets) calls per base

and

Up to 8 NB calls per base

I'll start by saying that I implemented them in a system and I'm very happy with just one cell I covered much more than I expected.

However, I have to do a bigger project with 3CX and given the success I had I wanted to continue with Yealink

What's the question?

Regarding the 250 calls versus the 4 or 8 calls, the W90 is a multi-cell DECT system. Each cell has a manager (DM) and many base stations (B, max. 60). The manager handles the overall distribution across all base stations as far as possible and a total of 250 handsets can handled via this manager. Less per individual base station.

If the 250 calls aren't enough for the system (single DM), there's a higher-level management instance that can be used to connect multiple managers (10x DM).

If it's about WB and NB: One base station can handle 4 WB (wideband) and 8 NB (narrowband) calls simultaneously. So, it's a question of the codec, as always with DECT. We've experienced this before. If too many devices are connected to a single base station and DECT is set to WB calls, sometimes the devices (ring group) don't even ring. This isn't much different with DECT base stations from other manufacturers.

This is all explained in the technical manuals for the devices. Otherwise, contact the distributor and inquire. They also provide hardware for testing projects.

If I need to guarantee 20 simultaneous calls in an area can I add more cells? Aren't they a nuisance?
 
So if I mount more than one cell next to each other it doesn't create synchronization problems?

I can't answer that in detail. With such few devices it shouldn't be a problem. DECT uses frequency hopping among other things and the controller also works with it.

But do they really have to be installed next to each other? I personally would be concerned about crosstalk from harmonics and other factors which would reduce the effective usable range.
 
I don't know the local conditions or the requirements. I would equip the property with DECT cells in triples, so that three cells are always reachable over a larger area.

This company has 30 cordless dect and I am in a 2-story building. Their request is on both floors to have at least 20 simultaneous calls guaranteed per floor on the dect part.

In the past I have used other dect brands where it was not possible to install the cells too close because the signal would have overlapped, some models allowed you to mount a master & a slave in one area to increase the number of simultaneous calls.

To have 20 simultaneous calls per floor I need 3 cells per floor 8 x 3 = 24.

The building is not that big, I could think of mounting two at the ends and one in the center per floor.

If I use the Virtual Integrator Manager can I merge the cells? Are there no problems with signal overlapping?

When it comes to multiple floors and tuples you should think three-dimensionally. DECT does not end at walls or ceilings and the range is usually very high.

Placing the devices at the end of an exterior wall is a waste as the radio power is probably not needed outside. Depending on the structural conditions even this may be too generous.

I think so, I don't know, we never used that, we never needed that because 10 bases were more than enough in our previous environments.

Are there no problems with signal overlapping?
As I've already written: if you have such specific questions, please contact your distributor or, through them, the manufacturer. Our experience has been very positive. They are very committed to answering technical questions and finding customer solutions.

Just ask them.
