New installation of 3cx, latest version. A couple of Yealink T48G phones (new). Have done factory resets on both. Both have latest firmware. Provisioned both. Go to the ip address of the phones, entering in ip of browser or clicking phone gui link in 3cx, throws the following messages:

1) Bad credentials (SSL) and
2) You are not authorized to access the web interface. Please contact your support team or try again 6 minutes later. HTTP 403.
Cleared cache on two browsers, same issue.

I've temporarily set the security settings in 3cx to attempt to circumvent the problem, with no success.
The phone itself can make and receive calls.

What is the problem, and how can this be solved?
Thanks!

3CX changes the web password when you provision it

You will find the password - Extensions - Edit one the extension - Phone Provisioning - Phone Web Page Password. Click on the eye to the right and it will show you the password

I tried those credentials that 3CX inserted, didn't work. I changed the UID and PWD inside the 3cx phone extension, then attempted to reprovision, shows now as a new device. So I have to go through the whole process again, and then the UID/ PWD will change again.

See image for what is happening - invalid certificate.View attachment 9045

Hello @gigaboy

This is because you are trying to access the local IP of the phone with HTTPS which gives you this error. Do you have the option to skip this error by clicking proceed?

I suspect you used the wrong password and now the phone does not register and it is probably blacklisted. Navigate to Dashboard / IP Blacklist and check if the phone's IP is there. If it is delete it.
Then factory reset the phone and try to reprovision it to the extension. Once it is reprovisioned and registered select it from the Phones tab and click on the Phone UI button. If you are presented with the SSL error skip it and the phone will login automatically. If you cannot skip the error try a different browser.

If the phone requires username and password then navigate to Extension settings / Phone provisioning tab and locate the hone Web Page Password. Do not attempt to login using the extension credentials found under the General tab. The username of the phone does not change.

Actually, with one of the two T48G phones, I was able to somehow get in and set the "Only Accept Trusted Certificates" to disabled (under security tab). This solved the problem.
