Native MFA is available in 3CX with TOTP for some time now, and it's a good first MFA method, way better than SMS.
We'd like to now ask for YubiKey support to authenticate into 3CX webapps, desktop apps, and mobile apps, using FIDO2/WebAuthn.
This would align 3CX with the broader industry push towards FIDO2/WebAuthn as the standard for phishing-resistant authentication, already adopted by Microsoft, Google, and GitHub among others.
This could really improve the experience and security posture for 3CX authentication, and we have prospects already onboarded into the YubiKey ecosystem who are asking for this feature.
